FAQ's

Can I put-up a notice for a relative who has passed away?

Unfortunately, for security reasons, it is not possible for an individual to put-up a notice directly onto the Passedaway.com site. Only Passedaway.com Partners, such as Funeral Directors, can upload notices directly to the website. If you wish to have a notice included on the site you can ask your Funeral Director for assistance or submit it to us for consideration and verification by emailing it (together with contact details etc.) to: notices@passedaway.com

How can a family add photographs and other items to an existing notice?

This is very straightforward. Relatives of a person whose notice appears on the website will have received a Passedaway.com booklet. This booklet includes a unique Access Code which enables the family to upload Photographs, a Life Story of their loved one, a Final Message and much more.

Can the family add or change details in the original notice?

Not directly. If something was left out of the original notice then this information can be emailed to us from within the Family Section of the website. When contacting us about such matters the Access Code must be quoted.

Can I put up a sympathy notice to accompany an existing Family Notice?

Yes, of course. If you see a notice announcing the death of a relative, friend or colleague there is a simply process for uploading your own contribution. Simply click on the button: Post a Notice.
