Funeral service takes place of Killyclogher accident victim

The funeral has taken place this morning of one of the two young men from Killyclogher near Omagh who died in a car accident.

Anthony McKenna (pictured right),who was 16, died along with 18-year-old Paul McGrath when the car they were in was involved in a collision with a tractor.

The accident happened on the Killyclogher Road.

A third teenager was seriously injured in the crash.

Family members were joined by many friends for Requiem Mass this morning in the local St. Mary’s Church.

Yesterday, mourners had gathered in the same church for the funeral of Paul McGrath.

Special services to remember the two victims were held on Friday in the Sacred Heart College in Omagh where Anthony McKenna was a pupil and Paul McGrath was a former pupil.
