Funerals take place of two of the victims

The funerals of two of the victims of the Cork air crash have taken place.

Six people died when the aircraft being operated by Manx2 on a flight from Belfast crashed while attempting to land in fog at Cork airport on Thursday.

Two of the victims from Northern Ireland will buried on Monday afternoon (February 14).

The Funeral of Pat Cullinan was the first to take place.

Requiem Mass for the 45-year-old accountant took place at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Cranagh. 

He was buried in the adjoining cemetery.

The Funeral of Brendan McAleese took place in Tannaghmore, Kells.

Requiem Mass for the 39-year-old businessman was held at 1 p.m. in St. MacNissius Church, Tannaghmore. 

He was buried in Belmont Cemetery, Antrim.
