Investigation into circumstances is underway

A man has died after being struck by a train in County Antrim.

The incident happened in Lisburn.

Train services between Belfast and Lisburn were suspended for a time following the death which happened on Saturday (January 29) at around 5.30 p.m.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death is being carried out.

No other details about the victim are known at this time.
