Hospice organisations launch Christmas appeals

LOCAL hospice organisations have launched their Christmas appeals to raise much needed funds.

The Northern Ireland Hospice is inviting people to Sponsor A Light on its Christmas tree.

People can, if they wish, sponsor a light in memory of a loved one who has passed away.

The Hospice hopes that by Christmas Eve there will be thousands of lights on the tree.

Donations can be made online, by telephone on 028 9077 7123 (9 a.m. — 5 p.m. Monday to Friday) or by post to: The N.I. Hospice, 18 O’Neill Road, Newtownabbey BT36 6WB. Please include details of the loved one you are remembering and make cheques payable to: N.I. Hospice.

The Foyle Hospice appeal has the theme Light Up A Life.

Supporters are being asked to dedicate a light in memory of a loved one.

A donation form can be downloaded from the Hospice by  clicking here.

Alternatively, the Hospice can be contacted on 028 7135 1010 (9 a.m. — 5 p.m.).
